Q: Do I have to be at a certain level of skiing ability to ski with the Superstars?
A: We recommend that you have previous skiing experience at least allowing you to comfortably make it down a beginner run. If you are a first time skier or beginner, we highly suggest getting involved with the many ski instruction programs offered at every resort.
Q: Can you accommodate a group with a variety of skiing abilities and experience?
A: We will analyze your group with you in advance and separate them by skiing ability – beginner, intermediate, advance, and expert. From there we will assign the Ski Superstars to various ability groups. This way individual groups are at a similar level allowing for everyone to enjoy skiing with no pressure to “slow down” or “keep up”. We’re there to have fun with no stress! Categories: Beginner – green runs, past skiing experience Intermediate – blue runs, comfortable with a faster pace on groomed terrain Advanced – blue runs that aren’t always groomed, light powder, and some black runs Expert – nothing is out of the comfort zone including steeps, moguls, and powder
Q: Do you have any “SNOWBOARDERS” amongst your group of Superstars?
A: YES, we are connected with some of the nations top snowboarders for those groups who choose to add that element. Many groups who hire the Ski Superstars tend to have others in their group (especially youth) who would like to hang out with an Olympic Snowboarder. Not a problem, we’ll arrange it for you!
Q: Is there a specific resort designated for the Ski SuperStars experience?
A: We do not have an exclusive partnership with any specific resort; therefore we can accommodate skiing with groups wherever you want to ski. Most of the time groups have already booked hotel and lift tickets to a specific resort so we can come to you! Again, we are simply a “guest” of yours. In fact, we have Ski Superstars based around the United States, Canada, and Europe.
Q: If I do not have ski gear and lift tickets, is that supplied under the Ski Superstars program?
A: We suggest that you buy your lift tickets and line up your own ski equipment before meeting the Ski Superstars. This will eliminate any last minute issues in which might hold up an entire group from getting on the hill to make some turns!
Q: What are the credentials & credibility of athletes?
A: All of our athletes are carefully chosen based on professionalism, personality, responsibility, and status among the world of skiing. Competing in an Olympics is the primary status.
Q: Will the athletes provide instruction?
A: Our groups of ski celebrities are simply guests of yours. Because they are not certified instructors, we do not want to be placed in a liable position. Our goal is to provide a unique skiing experience for your guests. We suggest hiring a ski instructor to join each group if instruction is needed or desired.
Q: Do I have to ski with the group the “entire” time allotted, or can I ski on my own?
A: You can hang out with the group as much as you like during the allotted time frame. There’s no pressure to stay with the group if you feel fatigued or you simply want to spend time skiing with another friend, colleague, or family member. If you want to go off on your own, that’s your choice. We just ask that the Ski Celebrity be notified before you depart the group.
Q: Are the athletes available to do speeches and/or join our group for other scheduled programs such as dinner, lunch, tours, and more?
A: Yes, we have a very reputable group of athletes who are experienced public speakers and enjoy attending social functions.
